Relays are an electrically operated switch consisting of a set of input terminals for a single or multiple control signals, and operating contact terminals. The relay may have any number of contacts in multiple forms, such as make contacts, break contacts, or combinations. An optocoupler is a semiconductor device allowing electrical signals to be transmitted between two isolated circuits. A signal conditioner is used to manipulate an input signal to a different output signal such as Analog to digital or 10V to a 4-20mA signal.
